DREAMARI TERMS OF SERVICE
Effective Date: October 1, 2026
Last Updated: October 1, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Dreamari, operated byDreamari ("Dreamari," "we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account, accessing Dreamari, or agreeing to these Terms, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use Dreamari.
If Dreamari is provided through a school, school district, employer, or other organization that has a separate written agreement with us, that agreement controls to the extent it conflicts with these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
Dreamari is intended for users age 13 and older.
Children under 13 may not independently create a Dreamari account. If the age or birthdate provided during independent registration indicates that a user is under 13, account creation will not be permitted.
If Dreamari learns that a child under 13 independently created an account contrary to this requirement, Dreamari may suspend the account and delete associated personal information as required by law.
Independent users under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
Students may also access Dreamari through a school or educational institution pursuant to the school's authorization and applicable law.
Users must provide accurate account information, protect their login credentials, and may not impersonate another person or misrepresent their age, identity, professional role, employer affiliation, or authority.
2. What Dreamari Provides
Dreamari is an educational career exploration and decision-support platform.
Dreamari may provide:
- career matching and exploration;
- college, university, and trade school exploration;
- educational pathway information;
- Career Reports and planning tools;
- career simulations and educational games;
- Community Boards;
- professional and employer engagement;
- internship, apprenticeship, scholarship, employment, or program discovery;
- school and counselor tools; and
- related educational and career-readiness services.
Dreamari recommendations supplement, rather than replace, professional educational and career guidance.
Dreamari is not a school counselor, admissions advisor, recruiter, employer, financial advisor, attorney, healthcare provider, or other licensed professional advisor.
3. Recommendations, Scoring, and AI-Assisted Features
Dreamari primarily generates recommendations using structured datasets, government and other authorized data sources, predefined mappings, filters, user preferences, and scoring methodologies.
A score, ranking, recommendation, or match represents an option for exploration. It does not establish that a career, school, pathway, or opportunity is objectively best for a user.
Dreamari may use AI-assisted tools for limited supporting purposes such as simplifying, summarizing, formatting, or presenting content.
Unless Dreamari expressly states otherwise, AI does not independently determine a user's underlying career match, admissions eligibility, employment eligibility, or other consequential outcome.
Dreamari does not allow student recommendation profiles to become automatic hiring or admissions decisions.
Employers, schools, and other organizations remain independently responsible for their own selection decisions.
4. No Guarantees
Dreamari does not guarantee:
- admission to a school or educational program;
- employment, interviews, referrals, internships, or apprenticeships;
- scholarships or financial aid;
- salary, earnings, or job placement;
- licensing or certification;
- career satisfaction or suitability;
- the accuracy of a reach, target, safety, or similar school classification; or
- any particular educational, employment, or career outcome.
Career, salary, admissions, school, and labor-market information may come from government agencies, educational institutions, public sources, licensed datasets, or third parties and may change or contain errors.
Users should verify consequential information with the applicable school, employer, government agency, licensing authority, or other authoritative source.
Career simulations and games are educational experiences and may simplify, combine, dramatize, or fictionalize real-world situations. Performance in a Dreamari simulation is not professional certification or a promise of employment.
5. Professionals, Employers, and Opportunities
Professionals participating on Dreamari participate in theirindividual capacity unless expressly stated otherwise.
A professional's employer, title, or organizational affiliation may be displayed for identification and educational context. Their statements do not necessarily represent the views, commitments, or policies of their employer.
Participation on Dreamari does not give a professional authority to bind their employer or another organization.
Professionals may not falsely promise or guarantee employment, internships, apprenticeships, interviews, referrals, scholarships, admission, compensation, sponsorship, or other opportunities.
A conversation with a professional on Dreamari is an educational interaction, not a job interview, job offer, referral, or guarantee of an opportunity unless expressly identified otherwise.
Dreamari is not responsible for unauthorized promises, representations, opinions, or commitments made by users.
Employers and organizations remain independently responsible for their recruiting, hiring, admissions, compensation, and program decisions.
6. Community and Youth Safety
Dreamari may provide moderated Community Boards and other structured educational interactions.
Dreamari does not currently provide private direct messaging between users.
Adults may interact with minors only through Dreamari-approved features and must maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
Users may not:
- groom, exploit, traffic, threaten, or sexually solicit a minor;
- request sexual or intimate material from a minor;
- encourage a minor to conceal communications;
- solicit inappropriate private or off-platform communication with a minor;
- arrange unauthorized private meetings with minors;
- harass, bully, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate against another user; or
- otherwise engage in conduct that creates an unreasonable safety risk.
Dreamari may review, moderate, remove, preserve, restrict, suspend, or report content or accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misconduct, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.
Dreamari maintains an internal escalation process for serious child-safety reports. Matters involving suspected grooming, child sexual abuse material, trafficking, exploitation, sextortion, or credible threats may be escalated to designated personnel and, where appropriate or legally required, schools, parents or guardians, employers, law enforcement, child-protection authorities, or other appropriate organizations.
Dreamari is not an emergency response service.
7. Acceptable Use
Users may not:
- use Dreamari for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent professional authority;
- access another user's account without authorization;
- scrape or systematically harvest user information;
- create unauthorized databases of Dreamari users;
- sell or improperly disclose information obtained through Dreamari;
- use student information for unauthorized advertising or marketing;
- circumvent security controls;
- introduce malicious software;
- interfere with Dreamari's systems or Services;
- use Dreamari recommendation profiles as an unauthorized employment-screening system; or
- misuse Dreamari intellectual property or proprietary content.
Dreamari may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create material safety, security, legal, or operational risks.
8. Student Privacy and School Data
When Dreamari is used through a K-12 school, Dreamari will process applicable student information in accordance with the applicable school agreement and applicable student privacy laws, which may include:
- the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act ("FERPA");
- the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment ("PPRA");
- the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"), where applicable;
- applicable state student privacy laws; and
- for covered New York educational agencies, New York Education Law § 2-d and 8 NYCRR Part 121.
Dreamari may process information reasonably necessary to provide its Services, including account information, grade level, school affiliation, career interests, educational preferences, assessment responses, saved careers, Career Reports, simulation activity, platform activity, and academic information provided by a user or authorized school.
Dreamari does not obtain unrestricted ownership of education records merely because they are processed through Dreamari.
Dreamari will not sell school-provided personally identifiable student information where prohibited by applicable law or contract.
Dreamari does not use school-provided student information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Dreamari does not intentionally require students to disclose highly sensitive information unrelated to a legitimate educational purpose. School activities involving information protected by PPRA must comply with applicable parental notice, access, consent, and opt-out requirements.
9. Parents, Guardians, and Eligible Students
A verified parent or legal guardian of an independent minor user may contact Dreamari atproduct@dreamopportunity.org regarding access to, correction of, or deletion of the minor's personal information, subject to applicable law and reasonable identity and relationship verification.
For school-managed accounts, the applicable school or district generally controls education records. Parents and guardians should submit FERPA-related requests concerning those records to the school, and Dreamari will assist the school as required by applicable law and the applicable school agreement.
Under FERPA, applicable rights generally transfer from the parent to the student when the student turns 18 or attends a postsecondary institution.
Nothing in these Terms reduces any parent, guardian, or student right provided by applicable law.
10. Graduation and Transition to Adult Services
Turning 18 or graduating from high school doesnot automatically convert a school-managed Dreamari account or school-provided information into an adult commercial account.
When a user's school relationship ends, Dreamari may offer the user the opportunity to create or transition to an independent adult Dreamari account.
Before additional adult career, employment, recruiting, networking, advertising, or marketplace features are activated, Dreamari may require the user to:
- affirmatively choose to continue using Dreamari;
- accept separate or updated terms;
- review additional privacy disclosures;
- make applicable privacy or data-sharing choices; and
- provide, confirm, or authorize information for the adult service.
School-provided information does not automatically become commercial adult-account information because a user turns 18 or graduates.
Dreamari may receive compensation from employers or other organizations for promoting or facilitating career opportunities. Payment to Dreamari does not automatically entitle an organization to personally identifiable user information.
Additional adult marketplace or recruiting services may be governed by separate terms and privacy disclosures.
11. Privacy, Retention, and Deletion
Dreamari retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the Services;
- fulfill educational and contractual purposes;
- maintain safety and security;
- prevent fraud or abuse;
- comply with applicable law;
- resolve disputes; or
- establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
Users may request deletion of personal information subject to a valid deletion request through available account controls or by contactingproduct@dreamopportunity.org.
Dreamari will generally delete or de-identify such information from active systems within 30 days after verifying the request, except where continued retention is required or permitted by law, required by an applicable school agreement, necessary for security or child safety, necessary to prevent fraud or abuse, or otherwise lawfully retained.
Information stored in secure backup systems may remain temporarily until removed through ordinary backup-retention cycles.
For school-managed accounts, the applicable school agreement may determine how and when information is returned, deleted, or destroyed.
Additional information about Dreamari's privacy practices is provided in the Dreamari Privacy Policy.
12. Account Suspension, Termination, and School Contract End
A user may stop using Dreamari or request account deletion at any time.
Dreamari may suspend or terminate an account for:
- violation of these Terms;
- safety concerns;
- security risks;
- unlawful activity;
- misuse of student information; or
- other circumstances where restriction is reasonably necessary to protect Dreamari or its users.
When an account ends, access may terminate immediately.
Personal information will be retained, deleted, or de-identified according to applicable law, Dreamari's Privacy Policy, and any applicable school agreement.
Dreamari may retain information reasonably necessary for child-safety investigations, security, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, or legal claims where permitted by law.
When a school's agreement with Dreamari ends, school-controlled personally identifiable information will be returned, deleted, destroyed, or otherwise handled as required by the applicable agreement and law.
13. Security and Data Incidents
Dreamari uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.
No information system can guarantee absolute security.
Dreamari maintains written procedures for responding to suspected or confirmed security incidents, including as appropriate:
- internal escalation;
- containment and investigation;
- evidence preservation;
- vendor and subprocessor coordination;
- remediation; and
- legally or contractually required notifications.
Where school-controlled information is involved, Dreamari will follow applicable school agreements and legal requirements concerning incident response, cooperation, and notification.
14. Third Parties and Sponsored Opportunities
Dreamari may display or link to schools, employers, scholarships, internships, apprenticeships, programs, applications, events, or other third-party services.
Dreamari may receive compensation for certain sponsored, promoted, or partner opportunities.
A listing, recommendation, partnership, sponsorship, or link does not guarantee:
- the legitimacy or availability of an opportunity;
- admission, employment, or selection;
- the conduct of a third party; or
- any particular outcome.
Users should independently evaluate third parties before providing information, paying money, traveling, applying, or participating.
15. User Content and Intellectual Property
Users retain ownership of content they submit to Dreamari.
Users grant Dreamari a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, moderate, and use submitted content as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, administer, and improve the Services, subject to applicable privacy laws and school agreements.
Dreamari and its licensors retain all rights in Dreamari's software, designs, simulations, original educational content, characters, graphics, proprietary databases, mappings, scoring methodologies, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property.
Users may not copy, distribute, reverse engineer, commercially exploit, or use Dreamari proprietary materials to develop or train a competing product except where expressly authorized or legally permitted.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DREAMARI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."
DREAMARI DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
DREAMARI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETE, SECURE, OR THAT ANY RECOMMENDATION, PROFESSIONAL INTERACTION, OR OPPORTUNITY WILL PRODUCE A PARTICULAR RESULT.
17. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DREAMARI AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AFFILIATES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST DATA, PROFITS, EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, ADMISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DREAMARI'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
- THE AMOUNT PAID DIRECTLY BY THE CLAIMANT TO DREAMARI FOR THE APPLICABLE SERVICES DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR
- ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Nothing in this section limits liability for Dreamari's gross negligence or willful misconduct, or any liability that applicable law does not permit Dreamari to limit or exclude.
Nothing in these Terms waives any statutory right that applicable law does not permit a user to waive.
A separate school, enterprise, or organizational agreement may establish different liability terms.
18. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, adult users, professionals, employers, corporate partners, and organizations agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dreamari and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, affiliates, contractors, and agents from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, and reasonable costs arising from:
- unlawful use of Dreamari;
- material violation of these Terms;
- violation of another person's rights;
- User Content;
- misuse or unauthorized disclosure of user information;
- unauthorized professional representations; or
- misconduct occurring through the user's account.
This obligation does not apply where prohibited by law.
Separate school or enterprise agreements may contain different indemnification provisions.
19. Disputes, Arbitration, and Governing Law
Before initiating formal proceedings, an adult claimant and Dreamari agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 45 days after written notice.
Except for eligible small claims, intellectual property disputes, emergency injunctive relief, or claims that cannot legally be arbitrated, disputes between Dreamari and adult users arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable rules.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, claims subject to arbitration must be brought individually and not as part of a class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding.
An individual may opt out of arbitration by providing written notice toproduct@dreamopportunity.org within 30 days after first accepting these Terms.
Nothing in this section is intended to bind a minor where applicable law does not permit such an agreement.
Separate school, enterprise, or organizational agreements may contain different dispute-resolution provisions.
Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of[STATE], without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
For disputes not subject to arbitration, the parties agree to the state and federal courts located in[COUNTY, STATE], except where applicable law requires another forum.
20. Changes and General Terms
Dreamari may modify the Services or update these Terms as the platform and applicable laws evolve.
Dreamari will provide notice of material changes where required by law and obtain additional consent where legally required.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
Dreamari's failure to enforce a provision does not waive its right to enforce it later.
These Terms, Dreamari's Privacy Policy, and any applicable school, enterprise, organizational, or data protection agreement constitute the applicable agreement governing use of Dreamari.
