1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE
Dreamari is a career exploration, education, career-readiness, and opportunity-discovery platform designed for users age 13 and older.
Users may access Dreamari independently through the Dreamari website or mobile application, including through supported application marketplaces, or through a participating school, school district, educational institution, nonprofit organization, or other approved program.
A school does not need to purchase Dreamari for an eligible user to maintain an independent Dreamari account.
Schools and districts may separately purchase Dreamari to provide school-sponsored programming, educator and counselor tools, administrative reporting, career exploration, Career Reports, simulations, educational games, Community Boards, professional engagement, opportunity discovery, and other educational services.
This Policy applies to Dreamari's relationships with schools, school districts, educational agencies, colleges, universities, and other educational institutions in the United States.
Dreamari services covered by this Policy are currently offered in the United States.
---
2. DATA CATEGORIES AND ACCOUNT RELATIONSHIPS
Dreamari distinguishes information according to its source, the user's age, account relationship, applicable law, user choices, and contractual restrictions.
School-Controlled Data
Personally identifiable information Dreamari receives from or processes on behalf of a school, district, educational agency, educator, counselor, administrator, or other educational customer.
Teen Direct-Account Data
Information provided directly to Dreamari by a user age 13 through 17 who uses Dreamari independently of a school-controlled relationship.
Adult Direct-Account Data
Information provided directly by a user age 18 or older outside a K-12 school-controlled relationship.
Adult Marketplace Data
Information an eligible adult user has provided, confirmed, imported, or authorized Dreamari to use for adult career, employment, recruiting, professional, advertising, or marketplace services.
The same individual may have information subject to different rules depending on its source.
Information does not automatically lose protections associated with its original source because a user reaches age 18, graduates, or maintains a separate Dreamari account.
---

---
4. USERS AGE 13 AND OLDER
Dreamari's standard service is designed for users age 13 and older.
Users ages 13 through 17 may use Dreamari independently even if their school does not purchase or participate in Dreamari.
Children under age 13 may not independently create a standard Dreamari account.
Dreamari may use reasonable age-screening or age-assurance mechanisms to support this requirement.
Where required by applicable law, an independent minor user's participation may be subject to parental or guardian permission.
A student's independent Dreamari relationship remains distinct from the student's school-sponsored Dreamari relationship.
---
5. SCHOOL-SPONSORED AND INDEPENDENT ACCOUNTS
A student who maintains an independent Dreamari account may later participate in a school-sponsored Dreamari program.
Dreamari does not assume that the student's entire preexisting independent account becomes available to the school.
Dreamari may use technical permissions, data classifications, contractual controls, and platform configuration to determine:
- which information is part of the school-sponsored experience;
- which information the school may access;
- which independent information remains outside school access;
- which new information becomes School-Controlled Data; and
- how information is handled when the school relationship ends.
The applicable school agreement, platform configuration, user notices, and applicable law govern these distinctions.
---
6. USE AND PROTECTION OF SCHOOL-CONTROLLED DATA
Dreamari may use School-Controlled Data only as permitted by applicable law and the applicable educational agreement to provide authorized services including:
- account administration;
- career assessments and recommendations;
- educational pathway recommendations;
- college, university, and trade-school exploration;
- Career Reports;
- career planning;
- simulations and educational games;
- assignments;
- educator and counselor dashboards;
- student progress reporting;
- career-readiness programming;
- authorized opportunity discovery;
- Community Boards where enabled;
- professional career-exposure programming;
- program evaluation;
- customer support; and
- platform security.
Dreamari does not acquire unrestricted ownership of education records merely because they are processed through Dreamari.
Dreamari does not sell School-Controlled Data or personally identifiable information received from schools.
Dreamari does not use school-provided student information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Dreamari does not use School-Controlled Data to create unrelated commercial advertising profiles of students.
Payment by a third party does not itself authorize that party to receive personally identifiable Student Data.
---
7. STUDENT PRIVACY COMPLIANCE
Where applicable, Dreamari will process school-related student information in accordance with:
- the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act ("FERPA");
- the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment ("PPRA");
- the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"), where applicable;
- applicable state student privacy laws; and
- applicable school, district, or Data Privacy Agreements.
Where Dreamari operates under FERPA's school-official framework, Dreamari will use education records for authorized institutional purposes, remain subject to applicable school control regarding the use and maintenance of those records, limit access to persons with legitimate need, and comply with applicable restrictions on use and redisclosure.
Where COPPA applies and a school may lawfully authorize collection on behalf of a parent, that authorization applies to the school-authorized educational purpose and does not authorize unrelated commercial use.
Where PPRA applies, Dreamari will reasonably cooperate with the educational institution regarding applicable notice, inspection, consent, and opt-out requirements.
For customers subject to New York Education Law § 2-d and 8 NYCRR Part 121, Dreamari will comply with applicable contractual requirements concerning authorized use, access restrictions, personnel training, subprocessors, safeguards, retention, deletion, and incident response.
Dreamari may execute state-specific or district-specific Data Privacy Agreements where required.
Where an applicable educational agreement provides greater protection than this Policy, that agreement controls for the covered data.
---
8. DATA HOSTING AND RESIDENCY
Student data and applicable backups remain in the United States.
Dreamari's standard educational deployment uses United States-based hosting for systems storing Student Data.
Dreamari may use cloud infrastructure and authorized subprocessors to operate the service, subject to applicable contractual, privacy, and security requirements.
Dreamari will provide educational customers with information concerning applicable hosting and subprocessors upon reasonable request.
Dreamari will not materially relocate Student Data outside the United States without providing any notice or obtaining any authorization required by applicable law or the applicable educational agreement.
---
9. SCHOOL CONTROL OVER OPTIONAL FEATURES
Educational customers may determine which optional Dreamari features are available within their school-sponsored environment.
Depending on available platform functionality, schools may enable, disable, or restrict:
- Community Boards;
- professional participation;
- corporate career-exposure programming;
- sponsored opportunities;
- employer-sponsored educational programming;
- opportunity discovery;
- selected simulations or games;
- specific content categories;
- profile functionality; and
- other configurable features.
Corporate partners, professionals, and other participating organizations may not override a school's feature selections.
School controls apply to the school-sponsored Dreamari environment and do not automatically provide the school with control over a legally separate independent Dreamari account.
---
10. COMMUNITY BOARDS, MODERATION AND DIGITAL CHAPERONES
Dreamari Community Boards are structured educational and career discussion environments created and administered by Dreamari.
Independent users under age 18 who are not participating through a school or another Dreamari-approved supervised youth program do not receive Community Board access.
For users under age 18, Community Board supervision includes:
- Dreamari and Dream Opportunity human moderation; and
- school-designated adult supervision.
ADigital Chaperone is an adult authorized by the participating school or approved youth program to supervise its students' Community Board participation.
Dreamari requires:
at least one Digital Chaperone for every 25 participating students under age 18, plus at least one designated backup chaperone for the applicable program.
Digital Chaperones may include authorized teachers, counselors, administrators, program coordinators, school employees, or other adults approved by the educational institution.
For live or synchronous activities, at least one assigned Digital Chaperone must be present.
For asynchronous Community Boards, Digital Chaperones must:
- maintain access to the applicable board;
- remain assigned throughout the program;
- periodically review activity;
- respond to Dreamari safety or moderation escalations; and
- escalate school-specific concerns where appropriate.
If no required Digital Chaperone remains assigned, Dreamari may suspend Community Board access until appropriate supervision is restored.
Dreamari and Dream Opportunity human moderation supplements and does not replace school supervision.
Dreamari may review activity, remove or restrict content, investigate reports, restrict or suspend accounts, preserve relevant information, and escalate safety concerns where appropriate.
---
11. NO PRIVATE COMMUNICATION WITH STUDENTS
Dreamari does not currently provide private direct messaging between users.
Participating professionals and corporate employees do not privately message students through Dreamari's student-facing services.
For interactions involving users under age 18, adults may not provide, request, exchange, or solicit personal contact information for the purpose of establishing private communication.
This includes:
- personal phone numbers;
- personal email addresses;
- home addresses;
- personal social-media handles;
- private messaging accounts;
- personal video-call links;
- private calendar invitations;
- QR codes leading to private communication channels;
- requests to connect privately through LinkedIn or other social networks; and
- instructions to communicate privately outside Dreamari.
Adults may not attempt to move a minor's Dreamari interaction into a private off-platform communication channel.
Appropriate official organizational resources, including public company career pages, scholarship pages, educational resources, and official program pages, may be shared through approved Dreamari functionality.
---
12. PROFESSIONAL PARTICIPATION AND STUDENT SAFETY
Approved professionals and corporate volunteers may participate for educational, mentorship, and career-readiness purposes.
They may answer career-related questions, describe professional experiences, explain industries and professions, participate in supervised Community Boards and events, provide mentorship, and share approved organizational resources.
Corporate partners are responsible for determining which employees are authorized to participate and for ensuring applicable employee screening, youth-safety training, conduct, regulatory, and compliance requirements have been satisfied.
Unless expressly identified as an official organizational statement, participating professionals generally speak from their own professional experiences and perspectives and not on behalf of their employers.
Participating adults must communicate professionally, respectfully, inclusively, and in an age-appropriate manner.
Users may not:
- groom, exploit, traffic, threaten, or sexually solicit a minor;
- request sexual or intimate material;
- encourage concealment of communications;
- establish unauthorized private communications;
- arrange unauthorized private meetings;
- engage in harassment, bullying, discrimination, coercion, or exploitation;
- engage in sexual or romantic conduct with minors;
- scrape Student Data;
- create unauthorized student databases; or
- use Student Data for unauthorized purposes.
Dreamari maintains or will maintain a child-safety escalation process separate from ordinary customer support.
Serious concerns may result in content removal, account restriction, preservation of relevant evidence, notification of the applicable school or corporate partner, cooperation with appropriate authorities, and legally required reporting.
---
13. CAREER RECOMMENDATIONS, DATA SOURCES AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Dreamari is a career exploration and educational decision-support platform.
Dreamari's core career and educational recommendations primarily use:
- structured datasets;
- government APIs and government datasets;
- information from educational institutions and other reputable sources;
- career and education taxonomies;
- predefined mappings;
- filters;
- user preferences; and
- scoring methodologies.
Dreamari does not use generative artificial intelligence to independently determine a student's career recommendation, educational pathway, admissions eligibility, employment eligibility, or other consequential outcome.
Dreamari does not rely on generative AI to create the underlying factual career, salary, education, school, or labor-market information presented as authoritative Dreamari data.
Dreamari may use AI-assisted tools for limited supporting purposes such as simplifying, summarizing, formatting, or presenting content where appropriate.
Dreamari does not use School-Controlled personally identifiable information to train third-party general-purpose AI models.
Career matches, school classifications, rankings, recommendations, and similar outputs are intended for exploration and decision support.
Dreamari recommendations supplement, rather than replace, professional educational and career guidance.
Dreamari does not allow student recommendation profiles to become automatic hiring or admissions decisions.
Schools, employers, and other organizations remain responsible for their own consequential decisions.
---
14. SPONSORED OPPORTUNITIES AND STUDENT BENEFIT
Dreamari may work with universities, colleges, trade schools, nonprofit organizations, foundations, scholarship providers, employers, professional associations, training providers, government programs, and other organizations to expand the resources and opportunities available to students.
Organizations may compensate Dreamari to:
- sponsor opportunities;
- increase opportunity visibility;
- support educational programming;
- promote scholarships or programs;
- support career-exploration experiences;
- fund student resources; or
- provide organizational visibility.
Sponsored opportunity functionality is intended to increase the breadth, accessibility, and usefulness of educational, financial, developmental, and career-readiness resources available to students while helping support the operation of Dreamari.
Examples may include a university promoting a summer program, a foundation promoting a scholarship, a nonprofit promoting youth programming, a trade school promoting a training pathway, or a corporation supporting educational career programming.
Where appropriate or required, Dreamari may identify content as Sponsored, Promoted, Paid Opportunity, Partner Opportunity, or another appropriate designation.
Payment to Dreamari does not itself authorize an organization to receive personally identifiable Student Data.
Dreamari may display or recommend an opportunity based on legally and contractually permissible information without disclosing the student's identity to the sponsoring organization.
Schools may disable sponsored-opportunity functionality within their school-sponsored environment.
---
15. OPPORTUNITY DISCOVERY AND ADULT-ONLY TALENT ACQUISITION
For users under age 18, Dreamari may provide age-appropriate access to:
- scholarships;
- colleges and universities;
- trade schools;
- certificate and training programs;
- nonprofit programs;
- mentorship;
- youth development programs;
- competitions and events;
- pre-college programs;
- employer-sponsored educational programs; and
- internships or apprenticeships where legally and age appropriate.
These features are intended for education, development, and opportunity discovery.
They are not Dreamari's adult recruiting marketplace.
Dreamari's employer candidate-discovery, recruiting, and talent-acquisition functionality is limited to eligible users age 18 and older.
A minor's Dreamari profile, career interests, recommendations, Community Board activity, professional interaction, simulation activity, or participation in employer-sponsored educational programming does not make that minor available as a recruiting candidate.
Corporate participation in school programming does not create recruiting rights to minors.
---
16. TRANSITION TO ADULT SERVICES
Turning age 18 or graduating does not automatically convert School-Controlled Data into adult commercial, advertising, recruiting, or marketplace data.
School-provided information may remain subject to FERPA, state student privacy laws, school agreements, retention requirements, and other contractual or legal restrictions.
When a user's school relationship ends, Dreamari may offer an independent adult account or additional adult career services.
Before expanded adult recruiting, employment, advertising, professional networking, or marketplace functionality is activated, Dreamari may require the user to:
- affirmatively choose to participate;
- review additional privacy disclosures;
- accept additional terms;
- make privacy choices;
- provide required consent;
- create an adult career profile;
- provide information directly;
- confirm information; or
- authorize specified information for adult use.
Subject to applicable law and the user's privacy choices, Dreamari may use, disclose, license, or otherwise commercialize information provided directly by an eligible adult user or information that adult user has authorized for adult career, employment, recruiting, advertising, professional, or marketplace purposes.
School-Controlled Data is not automatically included in those adult commercial rights.
---
17. PARENT, STUDENT AND SCHOOL RIGHTS
For school-managed accounts, the applicable school or district generally controls education records subject to FERPA and the applicable educational agreement.
Parents, guardians, and eligible students should generally direct requests concerning School-Controlled Data to the educational institution.
Dreamari will reasonably assist educational customers with valid requests involving:
- access;
- correction;
- export;
- deletion; and
- other applicable rights.
For independent minor accounts, a verified parent or legal guardian may contact Dreamari regarding applicable rights to access, correct, or delete a minor's personal information, subject to applicable law and reasonable verification.
Authorized school personnel may receive access to information reasonably necessary to administer the school's Dreamari program.
A school does not automatically receive unrestricted access to information a student independently created outside the school-sponsored relationship.
Nothing in this Policy limits rights provided to a student, parent, guardian, or eligible student by applicable law.
---
18. STUDENT REPORTING, COMPLAINTS AND REVIEW
Students may report concerns involving:
- inappropriate or unsafe content;
- another user or professional;
- Community Board activity;
- privacy;
- inaccurate account information;
- accessibility barriers;
- suspected misuse of information;
- technical problems;
- account restrictions or moderation actions; or
- other Dreamari experiences.
Students may use available in-platform reporting tools or contact:
Support: product@dreamopportunity.org
Safety: product@dreamopportunity.org
Privacy: product@dreamopportunity.org
Accessibility: product@dreamopportunity.org
Serious safety reports will be routed through Dreamari's child-safety escalation process.
Where an issue concerns School-Controlled Data, school policy, an education record, or another matter controlled by the educational institution, Dreamari may coordinate with or refer the matter to the applicable school or district.
Where appropriate, users may request review of a Dreamari moderation action or account restriction.
Students will not be penalized by Dreamari for making a good-faith safety, privacy, accessibility, or misconduct report.
---
19. ACCESSIBILITY
Dreamari is committed to providing an accessible experience for students, educators, counselors, administrators, and other users, including individuals with disabilities.
Dreamari's accessibility target isWCAG 2.1 Level AA, where applicable.
Dreamari will maintain an accessibility evaluation and remediation process and will provide educational customers with available accessibility documentation, including a current Accessibility Conformance Report based on the applicable Voluntary Product Accessibility Template ("VPAT") when completed and available.
Dreamari will not represent that it has achieved a particular level of accessibility conformance unless that representation is supported by appropriate evaluation or testing.
Users may report accessibility barriers atproduct@dreamopportunity.org.
Dreamari will reasonably evaluate reported barriers and prioritize remediation based on severity, user impact, technical feasibility, and applicable legal requirements.
Where appropriate, Dreamari will work with educational customers to identify reasonable alternative access while a material accessibility issue is being addressed.
---
20. SCHOOL RESPONSIBILITIES
Educational customers are responsible for:
- identifying authorized administrators and personnel;
- maintaining appropriate school access permissions;
- determining which optional Dreamari features to enable;
- designating required Digital Chaperones;
- maintaining the required Digital Chaperone ratio and backup;
- ensuring school personnel satisfy applicable school screening, training, conduct, and youth-safety requirements;
- providing notices, permissions, consents, or authorizations for which the educational institution is legally responsible;
- communicating applicable school policies;
- protecting administrator credentials;
- promptly removing or updating personnel who should no longer have access; and
- using Dreamari information only for authorized educational purposes.
Nothing in this section transfers to the educational customer a responsibility that applicable law or the applicable agreement independently assigns to Dreamari.
---
21. USER CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Users and educational customers retain their applicable ownership rights in content and pre-existing materials they submit to Dreamari.
By submitting content, the submitting party grants Dreamari a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, format, technically modify, moderate, and otherwise use the content as reasonably necessary to:
- operate Dreamari;
- provide the applicable educational program;
- maintain accessibility;
- provide safety and moderation functionality;
- maintain applicable records; and
- secure the platform.
Dreamari does not acquire ownership of an educational customer's trademarks or pre-existing proprietary educational materials merely because they are used through Dreamari.
Dreamari and its licensors retain their rights in Dreamari software, designs, simulations, games, original educational content, characters, graphics, proprietary datasets, mappings, scoring methodologies, trademarks, and other proprietary materials.
---
22. SECURITY, SUBPROCESSORS AND PERSONNEL ACCESS
Dreamari maintains a risk-based information security program intended to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information processed through the platform.
Safeguards may include, as appropriate:
- role-based access;
- least-privilege permissions;
- authentication controls;
- administrative access restrictions;
- encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate;
- system logging;
- security monitoring;
- vulnerability management;
- secure software-development practices;
- backups;
- recovery procedures; and
- incident response.
Access to School-Controlled Data is restricted to Dreamari personnel and authorized service providers with a legitimate need to perform their responsibilities.
Personnel with access to protected student information are subject to appropriate confidentiality requirements and privacy and security training.
Dreamari may use subprocessors for cloud infrastructure, databases, storage, authentication, communications, analytics, security, monitoring, customer support, and other operational functions.
Subprocessors processing protected information on Dreamari's behalf are expected to be subject to appropriate confidentiality, privacy, security, and contractual obligations.
Dreamari will maintain an applicable subprocessor list for institutional customers and will provide notices concerning material changes where required by applicable law or contract.
Dreamari will not represent that it possesses a certification, independent audit, security assessment, or assurance report unless it has actually obtained it.
---
23. RETENTION, DELETION AND CONTRACT TERMINATION
Dreamari retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the applicable service;
- fulfill educational and contractual purposes;
- maintain safety and security;
- prevent fraud or abuse;
- comply with applicable law;
- resolve disputes; or
- establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
School-Controlled Data may be subject to customer-specific retention and deletion requirements.
When a school's agreement with Dreamari ends, Dreamari will handle School-Controlled Data according to applicable law and the agreement, which may include:
- terminating school administrative access;
- providing required data return or export;
- deleting, destroying, or de-identifying applicable School-Controlled Data within the required period; and
- allowing residual backup copies to expire through applicable backup-retention cycles.
Information reasonably required for child-safety investigations, cybersecurity, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, legal obligations, or dispute resolution may be retained where legally permitted.
The end of a school's agreement does not necessarily terminate an otherwise eligible user's legally separate independent Dreamari account.
Dreamari will not automatically convert School-Controlled Data into unrestricted independent or adult commercial information when the school relationship ends.
---
24. SECURITY INCIDENT RESPONSE
Dreamari maintains written procedures for responding to suspected or confirmed security incidents affecting protected information.
The response process may include:
- internal escalation;
- investigation;
- containment;
- evidence preservation;
- subprocessor coordination;
- remediation;
- recovery;
- customer communication; and
- legally or contractually required notification.
Where School-Controlled Data is affected, Dreamari will notify the applicable educational customer without unreasonable delay and within any period required by applicable law or the applicable agreement.
Dreamari will reasonably cooperate with affected educational customers regarding investigation, remediation, and legally required response activities.
---
25. EDUCATIONAL CUSTOMER DUE DILIGENCE
Dreamari recognizes that educational institutions may conduct privacy, security, legal, accessibility, procurement, technology, and vendor-risk reviews before or during use of Dreamari.
Subject to availability and appropriate confidentiality protections, Dreamari may provide relevant documentation concerning:
- data elements and data flows;
- data hosting and residency;
- information security;
- system architecture;
- subprocessors;
- data retention and deletion;
- Community Board safeguards;
- Digital Chaperone requirements;
- child-safety procedures;
- incident response;
- business continuity and disaster recovery;
- accessibility and available VPAT/ACR documentation;
- cyber insurance;
- security assessments where available; and
- other reasonable due-diligence matters.
Dreamari will answer due-diligence requests according to controls and practices actually implemented at the time of review.
---
26. POLICY UPDATES AND ACCEPTANCE
Dreamari may update this Policy as the Dreamari service, safety practices, privacy practices, security practices, or applicable legal requirements evolve.
Dreamari will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
Where renewed acceptance is appropriate or legally required, users may be required to review and affirmatively accept the updated Policy before continuing to use Dreamari.
Dreamari may present an updated Policy when a user next signs in to the Dreamari website or mobile application and may require acceptance before continued access.
Dreamari may also notify appropriate educational administrators of material changes affecting the institutional relationship.
A Policy update does not unilaterally override a separately executed educational agreement where that agreement controls the applicable subject matter.
---
27. GOVERNING PRINCIPLES
Dreamari operates both as:
- a direct career and education platform available to eligible users age 13 and older; and
- an institutional SaaS platform that schools and educational organizations may purchase.
These relationships remain distinct.
Dreamari's objective is to expand students' access to career knowledge, educational pathways, colleges and trade schools, professionals, simulations, scholarships, programs, training resources, and other opportunities while maintaining appropriate protections based on age, data source, school relationship, user choice, and applicable law.
Dreamari's core commitments include:
- Dreamari does not sell School-Controlled Data or personally identifiable information received from schools.
- Dreamari does not use school-provided student information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Student data and applicable backups remain in the United States.
- Schools control configurable optional features within their school-sponsored environment.
- School-Controlled Data does not automatically become adult commercial data when a student turns 18 or graduates.
- Dreamari does not use generative AI to independently determine student career recommendations or consequential educational or employment outcomes.
- Dreamari does not use School-Controlled personally identifiable information to train third-party general-purpose AI models.
- Community Boards involving minors require school-designated Digital Chaperones and Dreamari and Dream Opportunity human moderation.
- Dreamari does not provide private messaging between participating professionals and students.
- Adults may not exchange personal contact information with minors for the purpose of establishing private communication.
- Payment, sponsorship, or corporate participation does not itself provide access to personally identifiable Student Data.
- Dreamari's employer recruiting and talent-acquisition functionality is limited to eligible users age 18 and older.
- Students, parents, guardians, and educational institutions retain the rights provided to them by applicable law and the applicable educational agreement.
Dreamari is committed to providing educational institutions with a platform that is useful, safe, transparent, secure, and capable of supporting responsible student career exploration at scale.
